Niagara Guide

Kurtz Orchards Farm is located on the “the most beautiful drive in Canada”, claimed the British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill (Nov 30, 1874 – Jan 1965). Churchill was referring to the beautiful Niagara River Parkway with its lush and colourful landscapes dotted with orchards and vineyards, dramatic cliffs and chasm dividing Canada from the United States and of course, Niagara Falls.

The beauty of the region combined with an edible heritage attracts millions of visitors each year. They come for the fresh, tree-ripened peaches, ultra-sweet strawberries and internationally award winning wines. They experience it first hand with orchard tours, farm luncheons and wine tasting.

Once here visitors discover quaint villages in the Jordan Hollow, the Beamsville Bench, the Niagara Plain and the Effingham Hills; each with their own farm and country hospitality. In between you’ll find plenty for the entire family from the historic Fort George to the warm and beautiful Butterfly Conservatory. There’s plenty of action along the Niagara River Parkway Bike Trail and a thrilling ride on the Whirlpool Jet Boats. The Shaw Festival Theatres entertain all ages while the Niagara George captivates everyone with its pristine natural beauty.

These are just a few things to do in Niagara. Come out and take a bite into one of Niagara’s freshly-picked peaches… It’s a flavour experience unique to the region!
